Great Visionary – a legend
Viswadeetphi is born out of the educational vision of Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of CMI Congregation. He was a great Spiritual leader, educationalist and a social reformer of the 19th century. He could foresee the changes in the environment and make strategic moves to build a better society based on the fatherhood of God and brotherhood of humanity. Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), the first indigenous congregation of India with a membership of around 3000, renders its services to humanity in educational, Social, health care and other activities aiming at the integral development of the Society.
Athapookalam( 2600sq.ft) laid in the indoor stadium of the school by the staff and studetns to celebrate Thiru-Onam 2014 . inhonour of the great visionary and saint – Kriakose Elias Chavara.
